Well, I tried to add a background image to my theme but the upload didn't work. I checked my media library and the uploaded image is not there.
UPDATE: Looks like the issue is that the image urls don't have https, so google chrome blocks them. Interesting. Anyway, here's my new background image.
Well, I changed my template to this very simple design and added a nice wood grain background, created a new group Home & Garden, and browsed a few other Xanga sites. Now for an update on my latest endeavors... I spent the past few weeks scraping and painting about 100 old windows of a 6-flat apartment building, replaced the banisters on the back porches of that same building, and now I'm scraping and painting those porches. Not my favorite kind of work, but I'm glad to be working. Now that I have officially dived back into the Xangahood, I'm going to get to work on one of my websites. I have a few websites in the making (not Xanga.. real websites with their own domain), which I will disclose as they become publishable. I will say, however, that they are all related to home improvement. Blog ya later Xanga gaters!
Wow, to think I bought lifetime membership for this site and then forgot all about it! Well, I'm back! I don't have anything to write about just yet, but I will soon and I hope all my devoted readers find it interesting and informative. Hmmm... do I have any devoted readers yet? I'll work on that
